WOW :o  Great job Mike, I like everything about it.  204fps, that's insane.  Are ya gonna send it to badger?

hey i thought of a question,on the power lam does it stop at the fade or extend past the fade into the limb as it narrows. ive done a few r/d 's but i havent used a power lam . might try on the next one though. thanks ken

Ken,
It extends past the fades.  It helps keep the wood from bending too near the handle and risking a pop off of the handle.  In these blanks the ipe is only 3/8" at it's thickest so you really need something to keep the handle area stiff.  The powerlam gets it done.

OK ...enough already Guys....I thought I was doing Ya'll a favor....I thought that showing my Chicken Legs was Bad enough....didn't want to show the Gut again...and Another PA Member has already got the " Full Moon Shot" patented....... ;D

And Nate is right the Power lam does extend past the Fades....there really isn't much Limb Taper to this design....the Limbs are 1 1/4" wide until the last 14" of each Limb...and gradually taper down to the 1/4" Tips

Thank You all for the Compliments on this Bow...I am very proud of it also...It is not only the first Bow I have built that bests the 200fps record...It is also my first Laminated Bow that I have ever completed...that has stayed together for Me not only to Final Tiller...but I have probably already put 400-450 arrows through this Bow...and let me tell Ya...It is the most Accurate ...Shoot where You Point Bow that I have ever shot...it's Sweet! It shoots just about every Spined Arrow I have and hits where You point...it's not particular at all...I think I am going to be really Happy with this One...and Tim...I still got Your Address....but I wouldn't be expecting anything more than some Cane Shafts in the Mail .... ;)

Hammer....thanks but the Dye Job might blend in Back Home...and in Wisconsin...but herre if it aint Beige...Tan...or Black (after the Idiots throw out cigarettes and burn the countryside up).....it don't blend in to the Fall Colors here! Most of the Trees here either loose their Leave early due to the Heat and no Rain...or they just go from green to brown and fall off...reall crappy Fall Colors here!
