Chert in Arizona?

Does anyone know if there are any areas in Az that are good for searching for knapping material  ????

there is  lots of knapping material in Az.,   cherts, jaspers,basalt,  I just  don't know where.   Check with  Tom Dodge (Paleoplanet) or Jerry Mercantel  (Knappers r us).

Yes, there is chert, jasper, coral and rhyolite
 But i have never been there so i have no idea were to tell you to look, but its there some were.

alright dude, heres a link from another lapidary forum I am on, it was compiled by a guy doing rock sources for all states, hope it helps as to an ID

Oh and a PS... I dont think you realize how awesome this post is, I made haha
