I just finished up a little osage bender. its 50 1/2" long and 42# @ 26" i was gonna back it with sinew but it really shoots strong for 42# and impressed me as is. plus i like having a bendy bow with no sinew...make me feel proud. seems very very stable and has practically no handshock, which i was surprised with since its short and bends in the handle. The piece of wood was from a left over belly split and had a little bit of deflex to start with and i didnt lose much more to string follow than what was already bent in the stave itself. not really my typical style of bow, but fun to make. off knuckle shooter for either lefty or righty. it has some nice character too, which of course the camera doesn't capture very well. I really like the lower limb tip. thanks for checking it out- Ryan
