Shootin is just too danged expensive!
« on: August 26, 2010, 09:47:19 pm »
So while out doin my daily shootin', I "robin-hooded" my second arrow this year. First one was a dead on shoot through the knock, this time i cut one in half with the other! Man this is just gettin to be too expensive! ::)
I shoot at a hanging "deadstop" bag, so one arrow makes it swing, and they tend to go in at odd angles, which this time caused me to cut it in half. Anyway just thought i'd experience this twice-in-a-lifetime experience with ya'll

They may be able to take our guns...but when they do, they better beware our bows!

Practice with one arrow. You'll never have to worry about that problem,(Robin Hood shots)again. It also helps you to "slow down" between shots, and personally helps me with focus.JMHO God Bless

Excellent point, Pete!  ;)
When have you ever seen a dead deer with well grouped arrows in it. It is one well placed arrow that gets the meat!

Gosh, I know how it is!  I go out with a dozen new arrows each morning and after one flight, all I have left is the last arrow I shot.

 >:D

Ok, time to confess.....I lose the other 11.

Well,,, ::) I will admit, I shot at a doe once at 20 yards, seven times. All the arrows I had. I kept hitting limbs or the ground in front, trying not to hit the limbs.

Finally she walked off, I picked my arrows up and started grunt calling. She came back and I shot her at 15 yards. All of this on the ground with the deer looking at me in full Camo. Go figure? ???

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
