 Here's some serious horsepower toys my company just built for a job down near Grand Isles, La. I spent the day cruising in the rain on one of our other airboats down there. I almost feel like a coon ass. ;D

Those are some serious air boats, Eddie.  Those things always scared me, I am aftaid I would be sucked up into the fan or something, LOL.  :)

 These could probally do it. Close to 2000 HP with 8 props

 I know that, Buddy. I flew in Monday, And have gone from one office in New Orleans to Baton Rouge and back to NO in the same day. Then South of Belle Chasse and then to Grand Isle today and back to NO. I fly out tomorrow at 5:30 PM. I'm in the Marriot on the Causeway in NO.

Eddie, is that 4 engines with twin, opposing props on each? You could commute from home in that boat! :o

  Pat, Yea. Thats four big Ford engines on each boat with twin, variable pitch props on each ones. What was fun is I got to drive the other Service Airboat these guy's up here built. The Safety officer made them hire a local driver. I'm the only one in ten thousand employees qualified, that is allowed to drive their boat. ;D
