Tillering scales

I've got a stave to a point where I need to start the tillering process. Where is a good source for a scale? I checked at Home Depot and they only have bath scales!

You can get a cheaper scale at Bass Pro Shop or similiar place, but they usually only go to 50#....this is all I use.

Should have done a search before asking...sorry....found my answer.  I hope to build some bows that will be in the 55#-60# range.  Thanks, David

I have a red tube scale I got from Bass Pro that weighs up to 100#'s.  Made many bows with it so far I put it in line on my tillering tree.  :)  Didn't pay but like 25-30 dollars for it too.

i just use my old dial type bath scale and a tiller stick  ;)

Most archery shops, online or local, carry Hanson bow scales.

Tractor supply co. has a spring scale for 40 that goes up to 110. Works for me. Except I have to turn it upside down because of the hook getting stuck in the tiller tree slots,  ::), but other than that it's perfect. I like it way better than those fishing scales.
