I hope you like it.  I kind of guessed at the draw length.  I wanted it to be a suprise.  I was starting to get worried, they told me it would be there on Monday.  I must have checked this thread about 30 times last night and today.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Howdy Folks,  I finally got my present sent off today.  I've been taking a look at the great gifts others have received and been feeling bad I was so far behind.  What a relief!
I'm also happy to say that I got a nice ironwood stave just before I left for Xmas.  I haven't posted any pics, cause I haven't taken any yet.  The stave is appreciated though.  Ironwood is not something I can collect here in CA.   Ron

Glad you like it Ken.
That is the second knife I have made.  First fillet knife.
The bamboo handle was stained a bit with Black Walnut hull stain.

Did not know that you made knives as well when I started it.

That blade could use a good polishing.  I am not set up to do that yet.

I came home to a wonderful gift today from Jamie.  It's a stone knife, I believe obsidian, hafted to a coyote jaw bone.  This thing is sweet, all the real deal too, real sinew and what looks like pine pitch!  Thanks so much Jamie, I love it.

That knife is awesome.  I have some jawbones soaking that I want to make knife handles out of.  They aren't coyote, but close.
