Braintanned Moccasins
« on: August 15, 2010, 04:09:45 pm »
I had a few braintanned deer hides that I did last winter an decided they need to be used for something besides conversation pieces. I put these moccasins togeather while settin on the porch tryin to beat the heat, What do ya think. Oh they sure are comfortable an whole heck of lot lighter than my work boots. Bob

You done good.  Those are just like a couple of pairs I had as a kid in Northern Saskatchewan.  Except mine were made from moose.  Other than that, they are an identical match.  I believe mine had a couple of layers on the sole.

We can't consider these for Moccasins of the Month unless you add a picture the mocs in full stride, otherwise they are a real contender.
