..................... Try draggin a compound around all day. Compounds are made to sit in a tree stand all day. IMO you have 3 -5 secs to get a shot off if yur not in a stand, try that with a compound with all the space age stuff. They are not quiet and a selfbow is for the most part. Many times if u play it right and the gods of the hunt are with u, u can get a second shot off with a selfbow. I think they do different things and are made for different situations, thing is once again IMO compounds are not as "all-round" as selfbows, besides as somebody said selfbows are "purty" and compounds are "fugly"
