Flowers right? ran out of day light and had to photo this one inside, only back ground to match the point i could find, Thanks Abby :)
This cool little tree is made from some colorfull flint ridge flint

This might be my best yet. both flutes run off the tip! I did the base after a cast of a real cumberland i have.
This cumberland was knapped from Buffalo river chert.
5 inches long.

Nice work, Jesse!  LOL on the background for the Pine Tree.  Great chipping, your flake scars look perfect.  ...and the flutes on the Cumberland...   :o  WOW!

I've been knapping longer than that and can't come close to turning out such pretty work.  Knapping is kind of like painting on canvas, some people can take the image up a few notches from what others can do.  I really enjoy seeing fine knapping art.  Thanks for posting these Jesse.

Jesse, after seeing work like this from you and Shannon I know that me and Mason done got lucky when it come to knappin teachers !Only wish we lived closer than we do. Nice points.
