I have a potter friend that calls those "orgy cups" because once filled they really can't be set down until they are emptied.   >:D

Was the pot fired in coals or in a kiln?  Would love to see a Build-Along on pottery work.  (hint hint)

J.w.After the pot was made and dried for a week and all moisture was out of it,I dug a shallow pit, built a fire around the pot and slowly moved the coals around and over it.With pot completely covered in hot coals,I built a good size fire over it and fired it.I did ot take it out till the next morning.
