Way to go Ken.
You may have planted the seed of interest. Some day, in the near future, you just might get a phone call from one of them, when they are in High school, and remembered this day, and found that the seed of interest had blossomed into full blown curiosity, and now they want to learn more.
Any Cub Scouts, or Boy Scouts in your area?
That's great that you not only got the opportunity to do this, but took the time and effort to do it. I hope you get many more. I think Kudos should also go to whomever arranged for you to do this.
Teaching about "Weapons" and such!
OMG!!! It is the best of classes, when you can see living history in front of you, and see how something was done a long time ago, and actually see what it took to make the implements that our ancestors, and Native Americans used, and survived with. It puts the books, all into perspective, and really sparks the imagination, and the desire to learn more. Good for you Ken !
And to you also Parnell !
