First Backed Bow

this bow is white ash with Brazilian cherry backing, 65"ntn. 2"@the fades to 1/2"@the nocks.  54lbs @ 26" of draw.  I recurved the tips for speed and smooth draw.  The tip overlays are bamboo, it's a sweet shooter.

wow nice bow! is it a ash board or stave? little set, very nice. i like the profile of it. i bet its a fast shooter! -jesse

I didn't think Braz. Cherry would work as backing! ::) I'm currently using it for bellywood backed with Hickory.
