« on: August 04, 2010, 09:27:11 am »
been looking at the arrow section here for a week and have saw and learned some good stuf, thanks guys. anyway saw a couple posts about guys going to home depot and such so i went out the other day stopped at lowes didn't see any boo their. stopped at home depot and the boo that they had was small. someone said tractor supply just haven't made it their yet. anyway i figured i would like to try some out and then order a bunch to make up for me and the family( i know those 2 6 year olds we have will need more arrows after we back them up from 10 yards lol) so where are you guys getting your boo/cane from.

I saw some at Tractor Supply yesterday here in Indiana. I normally cut mine along the interstates while traveling to and from work..

You can use a candle and a little cooking oil in the mean time.

I cut about 100 bamboo shafts from my back yard...damn things grow like wild fire.  Nodes are pronounced after drying...but they are going to be filed down to small bumps.
