i just picked up a felling and bucking saws that are in great shape and i dont know how to properly set them up so i can use them. what i am looking for is a book on how to do this. pm me if u have one that you can trade with we can talk with what you want for trade ttyl            sterling

I sharpened a few cross cuts about 15 years ago for the US forrest service, but haven't touched or even seen one since.  The kind I sharpen (daily) are  band saws for a hardwood lumber mill.  These are 40' long and 12" wide band saws.  A whole nuther can of worms!
 I wish I could help, but the kind you have are not my specialty :-[

i would try finding a site for "LUBERJACKS"
its a pretty big and fast growing sport,thers got to be someone in that circle that would and could help you

I've sharpened a few if you pay very close attention to how it was done before you should be able to replicate the angles and so forth. Cracker
