I thought the same thing when I saw it.  I put it on here just for laughs.  It's not me. It was taken by a friend of one of my relatives. I didn't even see the snake.

The photo is definitely taken to exagerrate the size, but that EDB sure is big snake nonetheless.

Six inches from the camera or not, that is a big durn snake.  I bet it could back a bow alright.  Might as well, since it doesn't seem to have any special place to go in a hurry.
