It would take more than 3 hours to get me to go into the brush after a wounded bear in the dark.  Great bear, thanks for sharing.  Justin

Far out. I guess it proves you don't need a high-pounded bow to kill large game. What was it I read once, that a good-shooting well made 50# bow is capable of taking any game in North America? I believe it, if the shot is good.

Very nice bear Matt.
I was with him on the hunt and the shot
he made on the bear was perfect, right
behind the front shoulder. There was very
little blood because on no exit hole and
the thick fur. Maybe next time I'll get a
shot at one that big.
