 Sanford-  The finish Is called Krystal :) A friend of mine has the spray equipment and sprayed it quick for me.  I'm gonna buy some of it for sure. It has very little shine so its gonna be great for hunting.

Thanks and yes David has nice stuff. He taught me a lot about bow making through our conversations.  I still have much to learn though :)

Eddie-  Thanks a lot.  I'm gonna take it to the state championship shoot this weekend and try to give the glass guys a run for their money. Now if only I was a good shot ;D

Very beautuful bow with a superb finish! I'm having a hard time getting my head around the fact that it was hand made...  It's stunning!!  Good luck at the champ's, kick some (gl)ass ;)

I was shooting it a bunch more today and heard a little tick. First time I popped a splinter on bamboo. It was at a spot where the bamboo was naturally a little thinner. I had my eye on the spot already before I even glued it and figured if it was gonna go that would be the spot. Oh well gotta break a few here and there ;D. Might make a franken bow out of it like Josh did :). The splinter is not real bad but Im not going to try a glue and wrap fix. I might just hang it up untill I decide what to do with it.
Im going out of town for a few days so I might not have internet so sorry if I dont reply right away. I'll post pics of the break when I return.           Jesse

Dang, Jesse that is sad.. I really liked this bow alot.  It is too awesome to do away with, so I would definitely make another limb for it.. Just save it until you have another one lift a splinter and combine the two good limbs.  ... or just build half a bow, LOL.  frankenbows are awesome.  Especially if the risers contain different woods... Once again I am sorry that it happened.   :(
