again thanks guys,the bark is one layer thick..the white bairch tree was a downed limb from the ice storms here last year,i peeled the bark off in one large layer,and soaked it in white vinegar for for several months,it peeled very easy to single layers,and it wont dry out so fast, so you can have a longer working time..james

Man that bow turned out great.  I love that triangle look at brace...very unique.  I heard this design doesn't stack at all...true?

sorry okie this bow is already spoken for,i did get to finish the cartouche,the top limb has the eye of horus and the bottom limb has my name in hieroglyphics................jp

okie you go ahead  and finish that chariot for me ,ill need a couple of mules to hook up to it,horses are no good here,too steep.lol
