The flinstonish Arrows and Quiver
« on: June 29, 2010, 03:19:50 pm »
This is the Arrow set for the Fred Flinstonish Sinew back I made.
The Arrows are 23" A BIT SHORT but  I added more weight to the tips with the sinew and fibers, kinda works like  a flu flu and helps the arrows paradox. Gonna make longer Arrows for that Bow Later.
I used goose feathers for the Fetches and the Noks are cut, steamed and wedged the Seperate the Nok, a lot more work than just cutting and shaping the Nok.
The quiver is another weaver type, for the bottom I just used thick leather with holes for the spines the fit in and wrapped cordage around to secure it so the bottom would not drop off.
Just for target fun. :)Phillip
