I want to make one so bad.  Trying to whittle down a hickory stave to be quartersawn now.  I need to give Rich a ring to find out the little tips.

I have a 26" draw big country ,need to get some shorter arrows as you can see from the pics.

I wouldn't be in a big hurry to get smaller arrows.  Longer shafts are supposed to give you less Archer's Paradox.  I just paint a colored band on minefor shorter draws.

Great looking bow! I really want to try an ottawa some day. I would sure hope it's half as nice as yours.

thanks for all your kind words guys , Its through all the advice I have recieved on this site that I can see my attempts at bow making starting to actually look like bows!!this is a great site to come on to just like a big family get together!!
