I don't know much about pens, but that wood is killer.  I'd love to have some of that for some decoy keels.

glad you like it! thats probably my favorite wood to use. as you can see the sapwood had some spalting and wormholes, some were stabalized with superglue and the middle one was still open so i filled it with superglue, and thats why its transparent, its solid superglue
