Thanks, Bullit and Pat. The bow is 60" long ntn. It pulls 51# at 28". It was built from a Mike McGuire stave. Dry heat bent recurves, reinforced with a thin osage lam. Belly heat treated. 1 1/2" wide at the fades to 1" 10" from tips, and 5/8" wide at the tips. I used Titebond I to put down the feathers and then several coats of Poly over them. The bow is fast and smooth and very maneuverable in tight places. Maybe I can "decoy" a gobbler with it next season! Maybe Pappy can tell us who first did this type of deal with the turkey feathers. He told me, but I have CRS disease here in my old age.
