My new bow
« on: June 12, 2010, 01:43:27 am »
Here's one of my recent bows.  It's Osage, 60 lbs @ 27in. 64" ntn. An American flatbow profile, 1 1/4" from fade to mid-limb tapering to 3/8" tips .  Its probably the best bow I've built so far. As always there are a few things I wish I had done better, but overall, I'm really proud of it.  And so, without further adieu, here are the pics.

Very nice bow Josh... Tiller looks fantastic!  I bet at 60lbs she really spits an arrow too!   :)

Thanks guys.  Yes, Josh, it's pretty quick.  I had it chronographed and it came in at 170 fps.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.  I really appreciate it.  I don't post much, but I'm on here almost daily, and there is a lot of much better work going on here to draw inspiration from. I love this site.

Nice one! i really like the handle. The leather wrap is a nice color, it compliments the osage well, and the tiller is spot on!
