Making bow from willow branches

can you use willow branches and how thick do themhave to be and i need information on basic ways to do all the steps to make a Primivitive Bow? if anyone could help me i would appreciate it.

You can use willow as bow wood, but I don't recommend it. It is so inferior as a bow wood that I believe it is a waste of time. There are just to many good woods, or even mediocre woods to go messing with crap.
Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the reason is you made a bad decision.

if you are so inclined here is a video of someone who made a bow out of willow, he says its about 30 lbs, and its surprisingly short. enjoy
