I made this ax yesterday still not a great knapper but bleeding less and breaking more rock .I cut the elm branch with the ax head for the handle ,used deer sinew and rawhide for all the lashings. Thanks to Mike &Jesse for the help at the classic .

It is really not that crude. You knew what you wanted to build and you built it. I have noticed that every time I make something, I learn a few tricks. If I make another, I try to use what I learned on the next model. Bill
