TYPE 16 medieval arrowheads
« on: May 09, 2010, 10:54:46 pm »
hello all...first post!,
ive always been fascinated with this certain type of arrowhead and i would like to know how i would go about forging the barbs and the arrowhead.
something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtTyOf8OCKg would be preferable since i like it being rather thin compared to the it's counterpart http://www.hectorcoleironwork.com/images/t16.gif.

Hello Hoodo,
J.Marshall is an excellent Arrowsmith if you PM or email him I'm sure he'll give you the pointers you're after, he's a great bloke.I think some welding might be involved for the 'wings'.
John in action (not the type you want though).
