Limb on the left of the pic looks a little stiffer than the right one?  Or maybe it's the right one that looks a little hingey compared to the left one??

Or mayyyyybe...  it's an optical illusion caused by horizontal lines on the left and vertical lines on the right...

Looks nice, all the same.

Steve.

Looks good!  Gotta love red oak, yeah?  What's the draw weight?

If it doesn't rap the lintel, it might not be a longbow.

id say the right looks kinda hingy too.  but hey, my last bow has a hinge too, and im just still shooting it.  those oak boards are cheap enough!

hinge or no hinge...it's fun to shoot... i'm working on filing down the handle now and when i shoot at 25yrds from my 8" thick styrofoam target the arrow goes 3/4 threw it.

it's looking good to me, man.

It would be a bit easier to judge if it was in front of a plainer bakground, and if you could see all of both limbs. But all in all, looks good.

I had really good results with using sandpaper to smooth the transition from handle to bow limb, at the fades. I took a screwdriver with a cylindrical handle, wrapped a layer of craft foam around it, then taped a piece of sandpaper around that; worked slick.

Can't wait to see more pics.
