Got one thinner and in one piece
« on: April 18, 2010, 11:13:39 pm »
Haven't been getting near enough time to knap this year and my learning curve remains low and slow. I managed to find some local hornstone and managed to get one that didn't look like a football. I'm using antler, bone, and hammerstone and still haven't been discouraged. I have a lot of respect and admiration for those that are skilled at the art, both present and past. Someday I'll get there ;)

Great Job Tracy!  Learning with abo tools is even harder than using copper, so don't get discouraged and keep at it.  You're doing great.  You'll be getting them paper thin in time.....

Thank you guys for the kind words, much appreciated. I starting to realize how important platform prep is to making a point. See you at the Classic!

Thank you

Tracy
