yeah...I shot the Tri-State Area here...Texas/Oklahoma/New Mexico...for years...got totally bored with it...too easy when you have all that crap to stabilize...and sight through...Still have it all...but I have not Shot a 5-Spot Tourney...or a 3-D for that matter with a Compound in 5 years

The reason I don't like shooting groups is because of arrow damage plus it isn't important how many arrows you can put in a 4" circle but if you can put one arrow where it needs to go.  ;)

I hear ya Pat, the wife and I have been stump shooting and I do much better than when I just go out and fling arra's at the target :)

I find having other arrows in the target detract from my concentration for where the arrow should go. I do better picking a spot, either visual or imaginative and concentration on that one spot.

I'm getting into shooting NFAA target faces, to try and compare with modern trad archers. Of course, my current bow whoops my but so bad the only score I have is 143 out of 300. Hopefully a nicer bow can give me a better score. Part of my goal of being the best I can with a wooden bow in as many ways as possible. So group shooting isn't all bad ;)

Look's like I joined the club today. It's the first time I have split one. I've knocked a lot of nocks off, but never hit one dead center.

I was shooting that Kodiak replica, I just got from Dave55 today. I stripped the fletching off of one arrow and then broke this one. I quit shooting groups after that.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
