Birthday Bow and Arrows for My Lovely wife
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:22:49 pm »
Made this for my wifes Birthday, I was a week late but better late than never eh :)
Osage, 55.5" NTN, 30#@24" Backed with a western fox(pine) snake that my wife spotted on the side of the highway, they are becoming pretty rare and the only
snake in the UP big enough for backing a bow. They have a nice pattern and look as good as any rattlesnake in my opinion. AQlso made her 10 tonkin arrows that come in at 300 grains
plus or minus 20 grains. We went stump shooting today so she got to break it in and she did quite well with it. Lots of pictures so will take a few posts to get em all ;D Thanks for lookin eh.

that's a beauty Dana.
especially like those skins on it.

not sure how she shoots with a ball cap on...the string always hits the brim when I try to shoot when wearing one.

Dana, I can't help but like everything about that bow. Nice arrows too. Do the two of you go to shoots together?

Purdy bow Dana.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!

Looks good Dana! Where's all the snow?
