A trio of trees
« on: March 20, 2010, 11:39:34 pm »
Chipped these out yesterday and today.   The big one is Ky blue and the other two are a very high grade translucent Sonora/Ky blue.  I'm not really sure what it is.  I've ran across it before, but it's pretty rare.   It's a lot tougher than Sonora or Ky blue.

I kinda figured that was the one you'd like Tim :D  You like those bands and such.  The first one in the top picture is my favorite, with the big one running a close second.

Yaw getting tired of Pine trees yet?

I just can't help myself.  Every time I pick up a piece of flint, I say to myself, "I bet that'd make a nice pine tree" ;D
