Does anyone have any experience with Aesculus glabra or the common name of Ohio Buckeye?  It's a nut tree, so I'm guessing it could be used, but wondering if anyone has had any success with it?

Never made a bow from it, but it's pretty light weight wood and seems pretty weak. :-\  Kinda like poplar

Buckeye is really soft, light wood-about like basswood or tulip poplar. I wouldn't use it if I could get anything else, I don't think.

buckeye will not make a bow, split it in half and make some dough bowls,,it is the softest wood there is
