Bow string

ok i made a great bow but i am using shoe string and it is streching out and it is bad so what should i use? i can't use sinew either

b50 dacron is what most use
cheap,makes great strings

Like sailordad said, B-50 dacron string material. It cost about $8 or so a spool and you can make lots of strings from a spool. If you don't have the means to buy string material or make a string I'd bet someone would make you one if you asked nicely!  ;)

walmart or a hobby store will probably have a spool of good hemp cord which, with enough strands, makes fine strings as long as you aren't pulling back 65#ers. I make endless loop strings out of the stuff - about 8 to 12 strands depending on poundage. The spools are about 4 dollars. Of course, if you can, you should take the dacron recommendation first, though.
