First d/r BBI

I haven't been around much but felt that I had to share a recent project I finally found time to complete.  This bow is going to Alaska as part of a bow swap recently on another site.  I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I liked making it.....

I just now bookmarked your fine bow for Laminate Bow of the Month fun. Any chance of a larger view of just the full draw?

In order of appearance...the bamboo backing, red elm power lam, ipe core, red oak lam, red elm handle lam, and finally ipe handle cap. 
The tips are also ipe left over from the cutoffs.  Its a fastflight string and the bow comes in at 60# at 30 inches as measured from the back. The bow has about 3/4 inch of set in each limb after shooting but it comes back to dead even with the back after about an hour.  Used dark brown dye on the boo and then steel wooled between the nodes.  Finish is minwax poly.  I am going to build a similar bow soon for a buddy who just moved to Oklahoma.

Man do I enjoy seeing a bow at full draw, and 30" is definitely full draw.

Great looking bow.  I LOVE the handle!!  I wouldn't mind some pointers on how to shape a riser like that. ;D ;)
