"D" bow and arrow set
« on: March 11, 2010, 12:19:56 pm »
This the first bend through the handle bow I have made.   It is hickory 62" ntn and pulls 30# @ 28".  1" wide at the handle tapering to 1/2" at the nock.  The handle is wrapped with jute twine.  The nock overlays are brazillion cherry.

The arrows are poc, made by a friend, we are giving the set to our local boy scout troop to auction off the weekend as a fundraiser.

wow, that looks great! I love the arrows, too. You've got exactly the points I want, were those made or bought, if I may ask?
