Flight shooting with sister and girlfriend
« on: March 10, 2010, 10:27:58 am »
So earlier this week I got to do some flight shooting with my sister and my girlfriend. I love it but the only thing I don't like is finding the arrows. I shot my laminated warbows, my sister shot my dad's hickory recurve, my girlfriend shot the hick/purpleheart bow I made her. I was finding my sister a bow to shoot and she had an easy time drawing my dad's bow to full draw in the house but when we got to the field she couldn't get it back. Weird how that is. Anyways it was a good time.

Presumably the cold stiffened up that bow and stopped her getting it right back?
There is something very uplifting about watching an arrow go off into the wild blue yonder, arc over and rush back to earth.
(What's with the hiding under the coat?)

Del i think she might be texting, hiding in the coat for a shield from the sun i glint recon.  Looks like some good times.

I thought she was expecting the bow (or Ryoon) to explode :o

Looks like she can't draw the full length because she is drawing with her arm only and not her back.

Appears that is was a beautiful day to launch some arrows. You can always tell who the cool chicks are, they like bows  ;D
