Ya'll are lookin at the evolution of this knapper. Notice the short stubby notches on a bunch of them. Most of em are gone now in trades or just given away - I'm gonna git back after it one of these days :).

Finally got above 32 degrees and an sunshine for a change. I thought I might try an knock the rust off an get a point if lucky. Been savin this pc of Sonora for just such a day. Here's my attempt , tryed to really pay attention to my notches an they came out a little better than my usual. Thanks for looking Bob

Here are a couple that I managed to get out of some waste flakes.  The bigger one is some Flint from TX (I think), the smaller one is Dacite.  They are pretty thick and ugly, but at least I had some time to chip. :)

I made these Obsidian tips on Sunday.  Used some nodules I collected at Glass Buttes the previous weekend, after the GMLR Horse Ridge Rendezvous.  Talking Crow and I were only at Glass Buttes a couple hours before it got dark.  However, I got a bucket full of small nodules that will keep me busy for awhile.
