Nice Point. Sucks that it broke. Can you still save it without the base? Or super glue the base back on.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!

I don't like glueing either, Bob. It was a nice point, though. Like the little S swirl.

OutbackBob48,  sorry to hear it broke.  I know the feeling.  ;) I had a nice point going, and dropped it, and it hit edge of a paint can, and broke the ear off of it.  Funny part is, it hit in such a way, that it removed a lump near the base, that I couldn't get rid of also!  ::) Now if it had just gotten rid of the lump, and left the rest intact, I would have been happy. 8)  Is that a circle cut pattern floor? 8)  That is what I am putting in my house, in Montana.

Stickbender, (is that a circlecut floor pattern) No the point is setting on fireplace mantle an background stone is split dornics, dornics are big round fieldstone that we have in this area. They are hard as _ _ _ _ an I believe they are granite mixed with maybe quartz. They have a lot of color after split. Every farm around here has a pile of them  at edge of field. Later Bob

Lol ya those hands have a slight abuse problem, Man the camera sure doesn't hide  much. Been doing alot of work outside an the snow will make your hands crack bad then fill cracks full of dirt an you get the picture. If I thought they were going to look that bad i would have worn a glove. A mans hands are his most abused tool. I read that somewhere. Later Bob :-[
