There were a couple of threads during the last few months over on PP.  One of these two might be what you're looking for:

Oh yeah??  Well here's one of an iron arrowhead in a human skull!!  I saw this skull on display at the National Museum of Health and Medicine in Washington, D.C. and I took this photo.  This same picture was in Primitive Archer Mag in my Lethality of the Primitive Bow article, but they reduced the size so small that you couldn't even see what the hell you were looking at!   >:(   >:(   >:(

Anyway, here's a bigger and better picture of it for all of you....

Enjoy...

I believe that Gene Wensel had pictures an article in Trad Bowhunter. I don't remember which issue though. He had it carbon dated an quite a theory of how point came to be in Bison spine. Bob

YEs, actually I have that issue of Traditional Bowhunter.  The name of the article is A Tombstone of Flint.  That vertebra was carbon dated to between 5,000 and 7,000 years ago and it still has a stone spearpoint buried in it.  IT was a super-cool article!  IF ya want to know the issue, send me a PM and I'll respond with the exact issue number and all that if you want to get a copy of that issue.
