Rock run day2

Ok Went back today and it was cold and some snow was falling but i was hauling loads of rock up a hill.. I got about all of the stuff on the surface, was not a very big out crop. i think i got over 1,000lbs my truck was sucking.. here are some pics!! last photo is yesterdays load and todays load together!

Those big one really need to be sawn.  It's not every day you findthat kind of rock in sizes like that.  Really rare stuff.  I'm so jealous it hurts ;D

I am not going to touch those big eggs they will be traded to sold at knap-ins it would be silly not to have them cut.
 I have allot of 3 to 7 inch chunks for trade right now.

 Sure Eddie i got a big one with your name on it. we can work something out at the classic.

 hope you realize what you have got there Jess? When I first started knapping I run across a house site that was full of high grade Jeff city nods. I got 15 buckets and ruined about all of it before I knew what was what. I have never found rock that good since.

cherish those rocks buddy and grats on a great haul!

P.S. I just sold a big billet a while back.....Wished I still had it now!

Question why is every one saying they need sawn ??? makes me want to cry ;D,  i want to bust them up with some one big hammer stone and a nice big flat anvil stone. our ancestors did not saw them.  >:D
