Man it is almost here, :) :) Saturday morning and it's time to hunt Whitetail and Turkey. ;) >:( >:( Love this time of year,it is supposed to be a little warmer than I like but you have to take what the good Lord gives you. :)I have 3 bows set up and ready to go. :) Got Sappy Pappy [sap wood Osage bow from Shannon] set up last evening with 4 Hickory shafts/Turkey feathers and trade points that come in a 650 grain, :) :) they fly like darts. Not sure what I will start off with, but this one will for sure get to see the woods this season. ;)  Hope everyone is ready cause it's time.  ;) :) One more day and then off to the Cabin for 4 days. Sweet !!!!!!!!!
Can you tell I am excited  ;)

Wish I could go too!!!

Been fishing for salmon though. Not such a good year this year 14 last year 5 this year. No time!!!  :'(
Becoming a home owner and running the business means less free time to do the fun stuff. Well, I guess the house work could be called fun.  :o

Going to be working on my workshop this winter and building a bow/pellet gun range at the homestead. The "Apocalypse Farmstead" is under construction!!!!  >:D ;D ;D

Anyone have any pointers on raising chickens????

Got to get the beds for the vegitable garden built this winter too. Thank god we have mild winters up here in the Northwest.

Going to start bow building again too!

Good luck, Mark. Our season opens too, but I found out yesterday I have to fly to Spain for two weeks. Oh well, it's still pretty hot here.

As my fishing season comes to a end the TN deer season is just getting started.
Ive spent the last two days daydreaming of twin oaks.  I always enjoyed the deer classic, the anticipation the weeks leading up to it. the planning and the prepping.
Then the excitement of the execution phase. And then the Fellow ship after each day. Oh and the Food cant forget the food :)

Would like to wish all of you a very save and productive season!
 Aloha Twinoaks!
