Sorry to hear the bad news Pappy.  It's never easy, even when you see it coming, but you are lucky to have Sally to help you cope with the loss.  Parts of Sadie will live on, with what she taught Sally. :)

Sorry to hear this Mark. :(  If I died and came back as a dog...I'd want an owner like you :)
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.

Thanks guys, means a lot,ya she will be missed for sure ,I have her in a good resting spot and life goes on, Sally seems to have a lot of Sadie in her ,problem is now she will be probably be more spoiled that Hannah and Sadie being she is the only dog I got and all the attention she will get from the guys. :) :) She already loves to roll and chew on Hickory and Osage shavings and can come up with more deer leg bones than I knew was around. :) Pat it happened so quick I ant sure what happened, :-\ Randy a good friend that fools with lots of dogs [he has 21 his self] said it was a bad intestinal infection. :)

Yeah, hurts to think this, but when you can mourn the loss of a dog this wonderful, life was pretty good to you.  And with the little pup soon coming into her own, life still is good.

Pappy, my heart goes out to you on Sadies passing, I really looked forward to seeing her when we came, how blessed I am to have one of her pups, truly a sweetheart. I know the pain of losing a close friend like Sadie was to you. Hope a picture of her pup will help to cheer you up.
Take care

Hey VB, that picture cheered me up, and I was already in a good mood.  That's the face of one happy dog!
