Had a real good time, Pappy and always hate to leave. We also had a good time in SC and got home about an hour before daylite.

 We couldn't buy a deer at Chris', though. It was in the middle of the rut and think the Bucks had the does on Lock-down there too.

 It broke my heart about Hanna, and know it was tough on you. Something special about a relationship between a Lab and a man. Take care my friend. Oh, sent John a PM to see if he can ship my clothes and I'll take care of him. I realized that bag has most of my work clothes. ::)
Thanks again and enjoyed seeing my good friends.

Also had a good time with all my friends,times like these that is a person needs,thanks. Stayed at the cabin 10 days ,hunted some but more rest and relaxation for me.Their were some good and a lot of deer killed and also a lot of knife/bow and hide work going on.Here are some pictures of the week.1st are Michael and Bo Bo's deer.Congrats.Then  COLT 32 My Mom left me.I plan on some new handles for it out of Elk horn. Then a gift from Jon.The blade came from an old disk blade i found in the bottom while I was plowing for a food plot,probably 100
years old at least.Some mighty good steel.Then some more of Jon's knives.

Eddie and our buddy Chris shows up for a week of bow hunting.Will hard at it as always. ;) ;D Me annealing a knife blade so I can drill the holes for the handle.
Kevin doing a little picking for us around the fire. :)

Chris's first deer and done it with a bow.then his 2nd. and yes there was a 3rd later in the week. ;) ;D Beau and Eddie after a morning hunt. Jimmy just hanging out one day. Art's first shots after Open heart surgery. Glad to see him back at it. :)

Another nice deer killed just west of my farm on the neighbors place. Reckless and Woody at work tracking a deer. Cooler getting full by the middle of the week. Will and Eddie putting a grip on Will's bow. :) Turned out nice.

Will getting into the hide work. :) Me and Hannah saying our last good buy.Very bad day for me for sure,I have been lucky to have had some fine dogs in my life but she tops the list. :( :( Supper ,man what a spread that night. ;) :) Eddie and Chris packing up,no room so Parnell's Hickory went on the front of the Jeep. Hope it made it back OK. :) :)

Eddie all packed up. ;) ;D ;D Man he was full when he got there then add 3 deer and he had almost to much. :) Will and some more fleshing.Kevin re working a Hickory bow he built in 2001. DaveO shooting in his wife's Osage and getting some skins ready to be put on. Timber split down the back. :) Big Snake.  ;) :)

Relaxing around the fire. Always good. :) My blade annealed and drilled. Big A skinning another one he got ,nice doe. Art just resting after some more shooting
and Tommy's first nice buck with a bow.All and all it was a good week.Hope some of the heart breaks are behind me now. Life seems to be full of them. Just the same Life is Good. ;) :) :)
