Mark, my prayers go out to you and your family. Keep family and friends close, don't shut them out as you go through this lost. They really help, as they did for me. I don't know what I would of done without my friends and family.  BDan

There's no greater honor and show of respect and love for a Mother, than for her children and family to be at her side when she leaves this world to go to Our Lord. I know there are times we can't achieve this desired goal, but you did. And being with her at that time will always fill your heart with tenderness and tears and one day she'll be holding your hand once again. I have no doubt in my mind that she was so proud to be your Mother. Please know my heart goes out to you and Joanie and your family.
Love you all so much.......
Tomi

Mark, we're sending up prayers for you and your family.  We're going through a similar sadness.  My mother slipped into a coma last night.  She'll be with my father is heaven, soon.

Pappy, when my wife passed Oct 21, 2000, i had a close friend who sent me the poem below. hope it helps sooth the pain as it did for me. God bless and my prayers go out to you and your family

God saw that she was getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around her
 And whispered, “Come with me”.
With tear filled eyes we watched her suffer
 And fade away
 Although we loved her deeply
We could not, make her stay.
 A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
 He only, takes the best.

Pappy, I am sorry as you go through this stage of life. As someone who has lost both parents now, I have a deep understanding of your loss. Know that heaven is a far better place for your mom and someday you will see her again!!! I will pray for you and your family. Fondly, LuLyn
