If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Friday again,it is finely winter here in TN. highs in the low 30s and lows in the teens at night, a good fire will be in order all weekend and I feel sure no one will complane about how much wood I am using. ;) ;D ;D I have no real plans but I do have some hides that need stretching on and an Osage stave in the works so that is my plan to get the hides ready to smoke and the Osage braced. You would think it would be bad working outside but after a while you get use to it.Hope yall
have a good one.See ya Monday. Life is Good. :) :)

I call a lot of people brother, but only count a few as family.

A few weeks ago Pappy let me have a few Cedar poles from his farm.  We had cut a bunch for making an addition at the Vendor area last year and had some extra.  I  put them to use on my front porch, replacing my old one's.  I'll wait a while and let them dry then seal them.  Pappy told me he has the same kind on his back porch at his house and they been there more then 30 years now.

Yes sir life is good when you have great friends!

Very cool Jon,they look great. It was a great weekend, cold but fun. To damp and cold to scrape much on the hides but I did get one stretched and almost dry.Had several down shooting/working on bows/knives and a few other projects. Here are a few pictures of the cold fun. :) :) Jon's IW with a new grip and some hide and knife work Friday before the crowd. :)

Heck Pappy I want one of those hats myself. Looks like another great weekend. Ron
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?
