Yes a nice white wine would go well with wood shavings.
Perhaps a nice Brie, and some sliced apples would go well, as well as a nice white seedless grape, and a few slices of good Genoa Salami. Crap, now I am hungry!
Well I am already drinking a nice glass of Opici Homemade Barbarone'. And I am waiting for my beef stew to finish, it is on it's last half hour, so I am putting in the onion, and Garlic cloves, then it will be dinner! But you can always combine wood shavings with Champagne, or a nice wine. Oh, and a good, expensive chocolate will facilitate the combination a lot more smoothly.
