Otis, Pappy, yes I went back over to the stand where I saw the two bruiser bucks yesterday.  It was quite early on and I was thinking about getting down when I heard something behind me.  I turned and saw the doe. She came in right at my tree and started eating.  My stand is by a big white oak.  She made a full circle around my tree before I got the right shot.  When I shot her she headed for your house Pappy but she didn't make it that far.

Jimmy, I'd bet few boy scouts have had the benefit of the experience you were able to provide this past week! Congratulations on the two deer!

Got this from our friend from the far North Dana, his first selfbow kill. :) :) He said to be sure to check out the hat. ;) :) I told him that he didn't look to happy,he said it was starting to rain and his wife was messing with the camera,he was in a hurry to get the deer dressed and out of the woods. :) :)

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Wasn't it some philosopher that said that a family that cleans, dresses, and processes deer together stays together?  Well something like that  ;D  A lot of work over at Twin Oaks today.  Jesse dressed 3 deer and we did the same.

That's really cool, Jimmy, you have to be a proud Pappa. Maybe I can bring you up some flounder that's not in a box.
