 Good luck, Art.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Pappy, after talking with you and John T I went looking for tanned beaver tail to buy on line, with zero success.  I'll keep looking.   :-\

The wife was impressed with the point I brought home.   :D  Told her John T could teach a rock to sing.  A joint effort but all in all a great end result.  Thanks again old friend for a great day.

Had a great weekend,no deer but lots of bow /arrow and flint napping, and of course some good eating.Art seen a couple of deer but no shot,he said it had been a long long time since he had watched the day wake up and it was awesome. He said when he seen the deer [about 40 yards] he was so excited he probably couldn't have shot if they had come on in. Very cool. JohnT and Jon spent the day along with GregB and art. Terry also came down with his 2 boys,we always have a good time with them. we got all of Beau's deer cut up and wrapped and had to cook just a little of it. ;) ;D ;D Hope yall had a good one also. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

Only 5 more weeks til I get to come down. Time sure drags when you're waiting to go to Twin Oaks. :(  I can't wait.  Almost as good as Christmas morning when I was a kid.

Had a lot of Osage pass over it tho.  ;) :) :) Ya that stuff on the griddle was fresh inner  deer tender loin, man it was tender and good to boot. :) :) Had a good day in the woods yesterday, had 3 doe that just needed one more step already a 5 or 6 yards but just didn't come together,so close yet so far away, then to top the day off about 6pm seen a really nice 10 point .14 or 15 inch spread with good mass at about 40 yards feeding on persimmons. Don't get much better unless you kill something.  :) :)
