Greg that stave is Yellow Birch not maple

Well, that has me wondering if it's the same stave. I think it was labeled maple...I may not have found the stave you gave me. ???

Pappy, I was thinking coming down next week, 13-15 or the next 20-22. Steve's out of town and he said he'd meet me down there if I go the 13-15, just got to pick up his bows. I call you tonight at work.   Brother Dan

Watch your mailbox Pappy. I was looking at that picture of Greg eating Chili while he was sitting in that chair. It's a long way to the ground from a chair up that high. Maybe you can make a nice osage or hickory bench a little lower to the ground.

Ya we need to do that,I checked them yesterday and the hot box is at about 100 so they should be drying nicely.I also found 1 more log that needs to be split ,it was beside the hot box. That
should be enough. :) It is supposed to be back up close to 60 by Sat. so should be a nice day to work. :) I have 2 coats of sealer on my ash bow ,I should be finished with it by then. :)

Pappy thank you for the batt, and a new handle sounds cool. I'd be happy if it terned out 1/2 as nice as the one you did for.. i cant remember his name.
Looks like yall been busy down there. i cant wait to get back and bust some hides and work on some bows.
God Bless Friends. see ya soon!
